During enrollment time I really requested from the school in-charge that my daughter be placed in a section at the ground the floor of their school, for an obvious reason that they will be bringing lotssa heavy books and their school don’t have a lift yet. There is a ramp for pupils with stroller bags though but it’s still under construction -the school might have seen the dilemma of these poor little angels carrying so much weight, which is a good development in their school.
On the other hand, it’s really an earnest request of mine that publisher’s would listen and consider this clear and present problem that school children should not be burdened with so heavy books – they should consider dividing the books into two, I really care less paying additional amount as it benefits my kids. This doesn’t need any fancy covers or papers since they would just use it once – then that I guess would reduce the cost.
Please, Dep-Ed – have a heart!
Anyway, while this has not been addressed by the good people in charge yet, we’re strained to buy [making manufacturers rich] this type of bags, which reduces stress brought about by carrying heavy bags on the part of the kids.

On a lighter note, I recently bought this portable DVD, my kiddos are like cats and dogs at the backseat whenever they’re all together so to keep them still while of the way home, they sing with SpongeBob instead, which again another problem of mine – because I don’t like this sponges voice… lol.
