I bought this from one of the make-shift stores outside of my son’s school, I guess we’re all familiar with this kind of stores, those that sells julienned green mango, singkamas, guavas and all that. It was just so timely manang had just cubed this ‘manibalang‘ papaya so I paid a cellophaneful and headed home. I washed it and soaked it in salty vinegar and munched it over ‘balitanghali‘.
A day after I sored my throat and throbbed my jaw … Sadly, I spent more on the cough meds than the dang P10 papaya. But you know what it’s actually my addiction, after I’ve recovered I toned it down to two packs of these a day and not too salty this time. hahah.

In can lang nakakain naming papaya dito ate hehe, ang mahal kasi sa store. One time I bought one and I saved the seeds, pinatubio ko but di ata aabot yung bunga bago magwinter hehehe, maliit pa kasi hehehe.
