I’m one of those who are not so blessed with a handy husband, I mean a man who would go down the drain and climb up the roof to fix and glue whatever is there to repair and anything close to that thing. Although, cool on some other tech things.
I understand where my husband is coming from, being an unico hijo and points his fingers to have things done before settling, I would assume this is the culture he was raised into.
On the contrary, I was raised to do even the grimmest things human has to do to survive, being raised and born to a not-so-well-off family. I was the eldest and have to do everything around whenever my mother and my father wouldn’t be around.
Now, thing with culture you imbibe it, it’s hard to take it off from one’s system.
So in the end we always end up paying someone to do the job for us, even for simplest task of nailing a hamster’s cage.
They say you would always find a partner opposite to your character, dang! This cliché sure is right!
